Connection or Disconnection?
Connection is a huge part of the world we live in. Thanks to the internet, smartphones, and social media we can be “connected” to someone or something 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. THE ABILITY TO CONNECT HAS BECOME AN EXPECTATION.So much so that when the ability is taken away it can create feelings of anxiety, depression, and loneliness.
While connection is important for us to create strong and lasting relationships, it is important to know when we need to take a step back, disconnect from the world around us, and connect with ourselves.
TAKING TIME TO DISCONNECT ALLOWS US TO REFLECT on where we are in life, where we want to be, and how to get there. Coaching is a great tool to utilize in learning how to balance connection and disconnection.
